EVVA security technology provides optimum security and convenience in Cineplexx Group cinemas.
The Cineplexx cinema operators have been delighted with the huge interest from their enthusiastic cinema visitors since the 1990s. No surprise then that nearly every hour sees the latest blockbusters, documentaries and domestic film productions flickering across the screens of more than 30 Austrian Cineplexx cinemas.
No glamour without security
Like all Cineplexx cinema operators, the security officers at the Cineplexx in Graz rely on a locking system by EVVA, the security professionals.
King Kong meets 3KSplus
Our mechanical locking system 3KSplus (3-Curves System) was installed in the Graz Cineplexx and features 255 cylinders and 312 keys. This system allows numerous locking variations, thus providing the complex hierarchical structures required in cinemas. This ensures that the locking system allows different people to access the cinema for specific time periods – from the cinema manager and ushers through to cleaning staff and employees from outside companies.
Springless operating principle
Unlike conventional locking systems, in 3KS plus, the locking elements in cylinders move along the curves on the key and are not driven against a spring force. This ensures optimum security and wear resistance. During the locking action, the 3KSplus key is checked a total of 4 times, three times more than in conventional systems.
Extendable as required
Since Cineplexx is growing wherever it can, its locking system needs to keep pace with changes at all times. To meet such a requirement, a complex locking hierarchy for current needs has been developed based on 3KSplus which can easily be extended as required.
The Graz Cineplexx was looking for a new customised locking solution which incorporated high security, specific convenience and the possibility of uncomplicated extensions to the locking system. It found what it needed in EVVA security technology.
