bauMax & EVVA offer new selection of security products.
EVVA and bauMax have created a new concept under the slogan "Security for everyone" which provides customers with an invaluable, innovative shopping experience. Security Street has succeeded in offering a comprehensive range of security products throughout Austria. The issue of home security systems is increasingly gaining in importance. EVVA, the market leader in security technology manufacture in Austria, and bauMax, the pioneering DIY retailer, have joined forces to create an attractive, clearly arranged product display spread over 20 metres. The range on offer has been divided into four main categories: living space, doors, windows and electronics. Customers will find everything they need, from security cylinders, window grilles and padlocks through to safes, door alarms and high-security doors. The security level of each product is indicated using a 5 star classification system, making it considerably easier for customers to make the right choice. They can combine their selection with supplementary products and receive easy-to-understand security tips. This concept was first introduced in the bauMax hypermarket in Vienna's 23rd district (Sterngasse 11, 1230 Wien). Over the next few months, the Security Street display will be rolled out to other bauMax branches. A dedicated website, www.sicherheitskompass.com, has been created, so that customers can find out about products before they leave home. It contains detailed information on the Security Street and valuable tips for purchasing a product, such as measuring the cylinder length. The "Sicherheitskompass", security compass in English, determines the product required in line with the customer's needs in five easy steps. Once completed, the customer can print out a shopping list which contains all important information on the selected product, thus making their purchase easier at bauMax.
