EVVA's e-cylinder is particularly versatile and does not require any wiring.
Office door? Fire door? Area under preservation order? EVVA's e-Cylinder can handle virtually all types of door structure. Its range of uses is extensive and its advantages are undeniable:
- The e-cylinder can be installed quickly and effortlessly – and without expensive wiring
- Existing escutcheons can still be used
- Perfectly suited to tubular frame doors
- It is also ideal for special doors, such as fire doors and areas under preservation orders
- The identification procedure is verified by an optical and acoustic feedback signal from the e-cylinder (e.g. green light means "opened"). It is therefore perfectly suited to all user groups and environment types.
- Possible to log precisely when and how long a particular outside company, such as cleaning, repair or mail services, was in the building using the online wall reader. This ensures efficient cost control.
- A major benefit for system partners is the fact the e-cylinder is simple to install. No electrical connections need to be made.
- Mechatronics are optimally protected from the effects of the weather (IP65 rating in accordance with EN 60529)
- Also available as a short cylinder (27/27); important for glass doors, for instance.
- As a component in EVVA's SALTO XS4 platform, the e-Cylinder is part of the SVN virtual network. This means it interconnects without the need for wiring.

A locking solution from EVVA is available for every door: SALTO XS4 fittings, e-cylinders, wall readers, i-locker lock bolts (e.g. for cloakroom lockers and office cabinets). The virtual network means the administration of the network remains clear and simple. Combination with mechanical locking systems is possible.
The selection of identification technology is entirely up to the requirements and desires of the operator.
